MEET YOUR Tutor
Mathematics has always been my passion and has been something I have excelled at since school, receiving the prize of best ‘A’ Level Mathematics student amongst a very large 6th form college intake. I then developed my love for Business whilst studying Mathematics with Economics at University.
Upon finishing University, I turned down an Accountancy Training Contract with a well known firm to become a teacher, I knew I wanted to spend my days making a difference. Teaching is a passion and the desire to help pupils achieve their goals has never dimmed over the years I have been teaching. In addition, my love of the outdoors and sports helps me to engage with young people, showing that you can love numbers and still be fun!
I know that I always do my best when I feel relaxed and confident, this is therefore something that I endeavour to achieve with all my students. My motto has always been 'you don't have to like Maths, you just have to like coming to Maths'. Building a positive, engaging atmosphere in which young people can succeed is at the very foundation of why I teach.
